About me

I always wanted to learn how to sew and dress make. However, at the age of 13 I was incompatible and frankly unsafe with a sewing machine. When I started this blog I was a complete novice, apart from making a cushion cover at a class!

Last year I got the opportunity to sell my own handmade items at Plymouth's first Vintage & Handmade fair. I jumped at the chance and threw myself in at the deep end. I made a selection of handmade bags and brooches inspired by my bookish, funky librarian style.

I'm crazy about funky buttons, pretty motifs and lace. Keep reading as I will be:
